Muslim Writers

Have a story to tell ?

Want your opinion heard?

Want to see your work in print ?

Want to share your experiences ?

Ever wanted to see your work published? Birmingham Libraries in partnership with Innovate Solutions (UK) is running a creative writers project with writers from the muslim community.
We are looking for authentic work from writers and budding writers from Birmingham. The piece/pieces must be original - fact or fiction, poetry or prose, weird and wonderful. Any topic will be considered - however, the more bizarre the better! Publishers are waiting to hear from you.

The project will offer writers the following support:

  • mentoring support
  • editing support
  • creative writing courses
  • master classes
  • networking with other writers
  • publishing support
  • professional critique for your work
  • access to the Publishing Birmingham website(on which writers can upload their material)
  • advice clinics
  • access to local, national and international publishers
  • access to Writers' Centre
