We have an ongoing recruitment process to find exceptional and committed professional linguists, and we always welcome enquiries from qualified interpreters and translators. All our interpreters are required to adhere to our Code of Practice.

Codes of Practice for Interpreters

As a key aspect of our quality assurance programme, we ask our interpreters to present a professional service.

  • To arrive on time.
  • To dress smartly.
  • Each interpreter carries an ID Card.
  • To act in a professional manner.
  • Not to arrange a substitute interpreter.
  • To telephone the office if you are unable to attend immediately.
  • To telephone the office if you are delayed.
  • To keep an impartial role between the Company and any individual involved.
  • Do not enter any private conversation with either party.
  • Explain to each party, before starting, how the interpreting process will be conducted.
  • Make sure that the interpreting is effective and accurate. If you are unsure about anything, intervene courteously or ask for anything to be clarified.
  • If any problems occur please telephone the office.
  • Any relevant paperwork must be given to the office immediately.
  • If you are asked to do any additional work please contact the office.
  • All time sheets to be signed and dated by the professional and returned to the office.
